Qualified for

APS gives priority to officers who already hold the required license. Select what you hold today. Not licensed yet? You can still apply. Armed: Maryland Wear & Carry Permit plus Guard Certification, or Virginia DCJS armed registration plus a firearms endorsement. Unarmed: Maryland Security Guard Certification or Virginia DCJS unarmed registration. Executive Protection: executive protection experience, and a Virginia Personal Protection Specialist registration where required.
